Slipstreaming Windows Server 2003 (3-in-1 CD) with SP1

Step-1:
After searching the web for 2 weeks and wasting 4 CDs, I managed to slipstream Windows Server 2003 (3-in-1 CD) with SP1. Though, I was not able to make a single working CD of these 3 operating systems (Enterprise, Web and Standard)! Well, Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition got all the features available in Windows Server 2003 Web Edition and Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition. So, I need the Enterprise Edition only and do not want to bother with the other two editions. Please follow the same procedure to slipstream the other 2 editions, if you wish.

I slipstreamed Windows 2000 Advanced Server with SP4 and Windows XP Professional with SP2 before without using any software. This time I found a nice software to do that. It is called, AutoStreamer. You need to download it from http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=223562. The current version is 1.0.33 and the size is about 846 Kilobytes. I hope, you already got SP1 for Windows Server 2003! Okay, let's start.

Step-2:
Copy the contents of the 3-in-1 CD to your local folder, I copied them in E:\win2k3. Now place the WindowsServer2003-KB889101-SP1-x86-ENU.exe file in another folder, I placed it in E:\sp1. Create another folder for slipstreaming and placing the ISO file, I created E:\tmp.

Install AutoStreamer and start it. On the main screen, select I want to specify my own local Windows share and click Next. Now do the same thing described in the following screen:

Please ignore those messages showing on my screen, because I already slipstreamed that share. You will not get these messages. Click on Next and show the folder where you want to place the slipstreamed ISO CD image. In my case, it is E:\tmp. Click on Next and wait for few minutes. After it finished slipstreaming, it will create an ISO CD image in your specified temporary folder. Now burn the ISO image with Nero, Roxio or any other CD burner.

If you did not burn an ISO CD image before, you can find 3 separate ISO burning tutorials on the Codes & Tutorials page and for your kind information, the ISO image created by AutoStreamer is a bootable CD image.
